Description –
3D ‘organisms’ that are used to guide you around an exhibition based on the history of medicinal practice utilising AR technology (These organisms can be scanned using an application developed for this exhibition).
App design & development using AR with printed organisms that guide you around an exhibition based on the history of medicinal practice.
In app designs showing the history of the thing they are looking at with a full description. This replaces the need for a traditional exhibition tag which may interfere with content and also allows users to screenshot content for a later date and view at their convenience.
Process
The process for this project looked at how digital intervention within a gallery can enhance user experience. I suggested this abstract AR environment to limit the need for descriptive text for visual experiences so that the audience could call upon and catalog information without having to read or photograph a placard next to an artwork.
